We have always been HUGE advocates for the power of plants! Even if you don't follow a plant centric diet, incorporating more plants everyday will help your health and wellness 🌱

What did Diet Culture teach that's false? That fat is bad. Straight up, incorrect. There are incredible sources of healthy fats that are full of potent nutrients and essential compounds for our body to function at its peak. Some of these include avocado, olive oil, flaxseed, chia seeds, walnuts, fish oils, and one of our personal favourites, the mighty coconut. These healthy fats help our brain function, balance hormones and provide fuel for cellular health. They help protect us from heart disease, improve blood sugar control and can help reduce inflammation. We need to be eating these healthy fats and should embrace them daily in our meals. Let's hear it for the healthy fats! 🥥
