Another successful Rays and Rowdies Week of Giving in the books 🎁

A huge THANK YOU to all our friends and partners across Tampa Bay for helping us spread some holiday cheer 🤗

Our Week of Giving wrapped up this evening with 24 children being adopted by their forever families! In partnership with Family Support Services of Pasco and Pinellas Counties, we hosted an adoption finalization ceremony at Tropicana Field. The families then celebrated at Enchant Christmas!

During our Week of Giving, 165 Tampa Bay Rays and Tampa Bay Rowdies front office staff have volunteered for 330 hours serving more than 1,300 meals at Feeding Tampa Bay's Trinity Cafe in both Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties!

Rays Week of Giving continued with Operation: Military Matters, Rays front office staff, and pitching coach Kyle Snyder, joined by Bayfront Health St. Petersburg staff, assembling care packages for our military members serving overseas.

For Day 3 of Week of Giving and in partnership with Good Sports, Inc., the Rays Baseball Foundation & Rowdies Soccer Fund donated over $30,000 worth of baseball, softball and soccer equipment during a visit to Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda.

Week of Giving continued today with a visit to the Hispanic Services Council. We teamed up with Univision Contigo to donate toys and serve dinner to children and their families. 

Special thanks to Good Greek Moving & Storage for transporting the toys donated by Rays & Rowdies front office staff and the Fairbanks family.

We kicked off our annual Week of Giving yesterday with Metropolitan Ministries! Rays front office staff, joined by Rays Nike RBI, volunteered at the residential campus in Tampa. 

Metropolitan Ministries offers services for at-risk and homeless families in our community.
