It was a pleasure to present our work at CIRED 2024 Vienna, entitled "System Strength Monitoring: Definition, Metrics, and Use Cases Applied to Modern Power Systems", co-authored by Timo Huuhtanen, Sung Pil Oe, Daniel Gheorghe, and myself. 
While system strength concept has traditionally been used and assessed in the context of transmission networks, the strength level at the transmission-distribution network interface and across the distribution feeder is key for secure distribution network operation, particularly in long distribution feeders with high share of inverter-based resources located in weak grid areas. In this paper, we also highlight the importance of real-time system strength measurement data for desktop simulation model validation. Lab experimental results are also presented to show how the Reactive Technologies Limited' solution could help with real-time monitoring of system strength in power systems, along with an overview of their measurement mechanism with different sampling windows.
