Our Power Systems business is opening up new tactical possibilities for military vehicles through its mtu hybrid propulsion concept.

Last year, we announced our governmental business within Power Systems as an area of near-term growth through investment.

Yesterday, Rolls-Royce Director, Commercial Aviation Customer Development, Ewen McDonald, and Air Mauritius CEO, Charles Cartier, signed an agreement at the Farnborough Airshow for Rolls-Royce to provide Air Mauritius with additional ongoing TotalCare® engine services for three of the airline’s direct order Airbus A350-900 aircraft due for delivery during 2026 and 2027. With these additions, Air Mauritius will have a fleet of seven Airbus A350-900 by 2027. 

In November 2017, Air Mauritius made history by becoming the first Indian Ocean airline and the second in Africa to fly the Airbus A350, exclusively powered by the world's most efficient large aero engine in service, the Trent XWB.

TotalCare® is more than just an engine service. It offers our customers operational certainty by transferring 'time on wing' and maintenance cost risk back to Rolls-Royce, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.

This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting Air Mauritius in delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency for many years to come.

As the week progresses there have been so many highlights at Farnborough International Airshow.
 
And for us, one of those was the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter - Building resilience through diversity, equity and inclusion, which took place yesterday evening. 
 
Dr. Sebastian Resch was on the panel to explore the importance of building financial, operational and regulatory resilience by building a diverse workforce.
