Proud to share an excerpt from our founder and CEO, David Spreng’s new book, “All Money Is Not Created Equal”, which ran this week in Inc. Magazine

As David notes, venture capital is typically seen as the primary funding source for early-stage companies. But after multiple rounds of investment, founders’ ownership is often diluted to the point where they only retain a small fraction of the company they started.

Venture debt however is another option, which if used properly, can be an incredibly powerful tool for growth – especially for late-stage businesses. It can propel companies to the next level (or to an exit), while helping founders retain ownership and minimize dilution.
