The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

Scandi Standard is proud to partner with Bank of Ireland and the four-bank syndicate on a new €280 million sustainability-linked loan. This will enable our ongoing, ambitious transition to be an even more sustainable company now and in the future.

Scandi Standard has published its Q3 2024 report, showing solid performance across key areas. The quarter saw a 3% increase in processed chicken volumes and an 11% rise in operating income (EBIT) to MSEK 153, reflecting disciplined growth and operational improvements. Net sales reached MSEK 3,343, a 4% increase at constant exchange rates. As CEO Jonas Tunestål shared: "These positive developments are driven by strong consumer trends across our markets and the planned improvements currently being implemented in our operations. I'm confident we have the resources and skills to capitalize on our growth opportunities moving forward." Read the full report for more details:

New CEO on the Way for Danpo A/S As of September 1st, the new CEO of Danpo A/S will be Claus Hein . He will take over the position from the current CEO, Kasper Lenbroch , who has accepted new challenges outside of the Scandi Standard Group. Claus Hein is 56 years old and has extensive experience in the slaughterhouse industry, having also worked at both Coop and Salling Group. He is originally trained as a butcher and has nearly 25 years of experience with Danish Crown, where he has held positions such as Sales Director at Danish Crown Beef, CEO at Friland A/S, and most recently as VP Retail Europe. "We are very excited to welcome Claus Hein to Danpo, as we are confident that he is the right match to continue the development journey that started a couple of years ago," says Scandi Standard ´s CEO, Jonas Tunestål . "Moreover, in his role as CEO of Friland, Claus has worked very closely with farmers and producers and has a great understanding of the framework conditions that Danpo’s farmers operate under. Finally, it should be mentioned that Claus is a highly respected leader and partner both externally and internally," concludes Jonas Tunestål.

Today Scandi Standard published its interim report for January to June 2024. We put another strong quarter behind us with increased volumes, higher earnings, and strengthened margins. "In summary, during the second quarter, we have continued to develop according to plan with stable, sustainable growth and increased profitability while we have completed initiatives that take Scandi Standard further steps forward.
