Service Corporation International offers its products and services under the Dignity Memorial, Dignity Planning, National Cremation Society, Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services, Funeraria del Angel, Making Everlasting Memories, Neptune Society, and Trident Society brands. As of December 31, 2021, it owned and operated 1,471 funeral service locations; and 488 cemeteries, including 299 funeral service/cemetery combination locations covering 44 states, eight Canadian provinces, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The company was incorporated in 1962 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

The iconic Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home is standing out as it marks a historic milestone. American Funeral Director magazine celebrates Frank E. Campbell's 125th anniversary with a look back at its monumental history. A proud member of the SCI family for more than half a century (since 1971), Frank E. Campbell has become a New York City institution in its own right. Frank E. Campbell was a pioneer in the profession who worked to give families a better venue than their own homes to say farewell to loved ones. He opened the Frank E. Campbell Burial and Cremation Co. in New York City in 1898. The 1926 funeral for silent movie star Rudolph Valentino brought out huge crowds and made headlines, prominently featuring the Frank E. Campbell name. This established Campbell as a funeral home that delivered outstanding service for celebrities, a reputation that has only grown in the decades since. Following in the footsteps of Frank E. Campbell, Bill Villanova says "he has a high, and clear standard to maintain." Bill says "I’ve tried to uphold the idea of the funeral home being that place in the community, a building, a business, a group of people that are always a safe space for any community member."

Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th - October 15th.

The gravestone of John Renie, a house painter who died in 1832 at the age of 33, comprises a rectangular carved 285-letter acrostic puzzle. From the larger H on the center square, the sentence "Here lies John Renie" may be read in any direction—in 46,000 different ways. It is likely that he carved it himself and it is said his intention was to confuse the Devil, ensuring his passage into Heaven.
