Sectoral Asset Management is pleased to have contributed to the first event of the Industry Leaders conference series by MEDTEQ+, bringing entrepreneurs face-to-face with key individuals in the medtech industry. 

We had the privilege of hosting Betsabeh MadaniHermann, The University of British Columbia graduate and formerly of Mitacs, now Head of Global Research for Philips.

The firm hosted another successful edition of its Healthcare Study Trip, the 21st, and had the great honour of having the Honourable Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy, Innovation and Energy announce the first close of its new Fonds Medtech Ventures, with initial committed capital of CAD 41.5m. We are proud to partner with the Government of Quebec and Investissement Québec as well as Fonds de solidarité FTQ and private investors in this new endeavour. We continue to work towards a target fund size of CAD 100m and are excited to begin our work with promising medical technology companies in Quebec and the rest of the country.
