This week, I set up 2 nearly identical LinkedIn outreach campaigns

One version had a video in the connection request 🎥👋

And the other did not.

The version with the video beat the other on every metric (% connected, % replied, and meetings booked).

And the best part?

The video was automated with AI 🦾✨

Video selling is one of the biggest differentiators in sales.

It's like being in the room with someone without being there. 

Once you do a couple of videos, you start being more confident and comfortable. 

Here are 10 tips that you can implement right after reading this post to be better at video selling. 

1. Keep your videos concise.

2. Smile at the beginning of your videos. Don't be a creep. 

3. Look at the camera, not at yourself when making a video. 

4. Have bullet points written about what you want to talk about. Its easy to go down a rabbit hole and make the video way too long. 

5. Stand when delivering the video. It makes it feel like a conversation.

6. Add context to the video. For example, tell them in your copy “This is less than 90 seconds, I promise”

7. Put time on your calendar dedicated to making videos. Make it a process, not an event. 

8. Use it for sales proposals. This has helped me close a ton of deals and it would be massively beneficial for you to leverage this. 

9. Use the screen share option with your video selling solution to do mini demos when applicable. 

10. Don't overthink it. We are humans, be a human in your video.
