Seneca Therapeutics to Present Talk at World Vaccine Congress titled "Facilitating multiple deliveries of therapeutics vaccines by exploiting natural methods of evading neutralizing immunity" Seneca Therapeutics has continued to discover new and important features of Seneca Valley Virus (SVV-001). Dr. Paul Hallenbeck, Chief Science Officer and President at Seneca Therapeutics is presenting at the World Vaccine Congress on November 28, 2023. The title of the presentation is “Facilitating multiple deliveries of therapeutic viruses by exploiting natural methods of evading neutralizing immunity”. Using Seneca Therapeutics patented SVV-001 Gene Library and DNA Launch technology, the company discovered several biologically active SVV-001 mutants which evade neutralizing antibodies from prior SVV-001 exposure. (SVV-nabev (neutralizing antibody evading)). Three mutants have been discovered which will permit six IV doses of SVV-001 over three months. Following the results of the Phase I/II trial with multiple IT dosing in SVV-001 sensitive neuroendocrine tumors, the company plans on bringing at least three SVV-nabev candidates for a single IV dosage regimen into the clinic. SVV-001 has been shown to be safe as a single IV dose demonstrating excellent cancer selectivity. SVV-001 single IV dosing also demonstrated preliminary monotherapy efficacy against neuroendocrine tumors.
