This historic pledge aims to drive the development of next-generation nature restoration projects with a strong focus on climate impact certainty. 🌳🌎

The Coalition's efforts will:
🌱 Accelerate high-impact, science-based restoration projects.
📏 Establish clear quality criteria for nature-based carbon removal.
🔬 Engage independent experts to ensure alignment with the latest science.

🌱 Update: Verra VM42 revisions announced to move to v3.0 🌱

Verra is set to release a major update to the VM0042 Methodology for Improved Agricultural Land Management, aiming to accelerate the adoption of regenerative agriculture practices. 
Here are some key highlights of version 3.0 (final release expected in the first half of 2025):

🔍 Enhanced standardization for land stratification, soil sampling, and lab analysis for soil organic carbon (SOC) changes.

🌾 A flexible "blended baseline" approach to accommodate varying crop rotations due to market conditions and weather.

📏 Clearer guidelines on repeated measurements in the "measure and model" approach for SOC.

🌳 Alignment of woody biomass quantification with VCS Methodology VM0047.
