Pete Schlampp has joined Sutter Hill Ventures (SHV) as a Managing Director. Welcome, Pete.

Our journey with Pete Schlampp began over a decade ago with our investment in Platfora (Acquired by Workday), an early leader in big data, Hadoop, and Spark. Pete's journey continued at Workday, where he led the Product, Strategy, and Marketing teams.

In October, Pete joined SHV as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence focused on opportunities at the intersection of AI and the enterprise. It quickly became clear that Pete could leverage the SHV platform to create and lead new products and companies. He will incubate and act as the Founding CEO for new projects, just as I do. 

Pete's exceptional talent in building enterprise products and his ability to act as a Founding CEO make him an ideal fit for Sutter Hill Ventures. As he steps into his new role as Managing Director and company builder, we look forward to increasing our capacity to create new companies at this pivotal moment in the history of Silicon Valley.
