The company was founded in 2016 by Max Vermorken and his team of co-founders. We bring together a solid board and industry management team with sector and regional M&A, strategy and operational experience.

Our investment strategy focusses on lime and limestone assets to supply the construction and industrial sectors of countries around northern, central and western europe. 

We currently target both the up and down stream lime and industrial limestone sectors, such as operating assets, value added products and services, associated infrastructure and supply chain. Investment decisions are driven by the team’s experience and background in selecting markets where structural, economic, or competitive features, allowing us to gain a competitive edge.

The focus markets currently include specific areas in Europe.  Particular attention will be given to niche markets as they all share the right characteristics of quality, stability, long term visibility on returns.

Redefining space in New York's Penn Station at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp.: Hainaut Bluestone redesigns Manhattan's urban spaces.

We're thrilled to share the details of the 1.75 million square metre restoration and expansion project directly above Penn Station. This transformation breathes new life into the Seventh Avenue gateway, at the top of North America's busiest transport hub. 🏙️ 

Collaborating with MNLA, MdeAS Architects, and Vornado Realty Trust, we've integrated Hainaut Bluestone to create a stunning and durable urban landscape. From paving and façade elements to steps and borders, our premium quality stone adds sophistication and lasting functionality to the revamped Penn Plaza. 

Here are some impressive figures: 
- 5 cm-thick paving: 4.736 m² 
- 8 cm-thick paving: 16.327 m² 
- 15 cm thick paving: 348 m²
- 30 cm thick paving: 129 m² 
- Steps between 10 cm and 20 cm thick: 839 m² 
- Façade elements: 2.095 m² 
- 38 cm wide borders: 1.097 mct
