Clean Ports Grant - ZE Electric Tug Award I'm extremely honored to be part of the $105mil EPA Clean Ports grant program awarded to the Port Corpus Christi and #SignetMaritime for the design, construction, and operation of a ZERO-EMISSION, FULLY ELECTRIC TUG for deep-draft ship escort. This grant program has set up Signet as a U.S. electric vessel shipbuilder and U.S. electric vessel operator overnight, and allows us to adapt advanced energy storage technology to our fleet rapidly and effectively for service in the Port. I'm very excited to bring our vendor and industry partners in on this project to deliver another industry-defining tug on the heels of the SIGNET SIRIUS & SIGNET CAPELLA.

Our second advanced Rotortug, the SIGNET CAPELLA, completed her final ABS bollard pull tests in the Port of Corpus Christi yesterday, achieving a staggering 94.04 metric tons (over 207,000 pounds!) of sustained force. We are very proud of the first-class vessel produced by Signet Shipbuilding & Repair.
