As part of SingLand Elevates, through a three-year partnership with HealthServe Ltd , we have supported the wellbeing of over 3,000 disadvantaged migrant workers in Singapore. With an annual donation of S$50,000, our contribution this year went towards funding HealthServe's 24-hour crisis helpline, which handled over 270 calls a month from distressed workers in 2023. On 9 and 15 October, we extended our engagement by organising grocery shopping 🛒 and lunch🍴 outings for 70 migrant workers, providing them with S$80 worth of groceries and a hearty lunch at West Mall. These activities not only helped defray living costs but also created meaningful interaction opportunities between our volunteers and the workers. We are excited to share that with the conclusion of these outings, we have surpassed 1,000 volunteer hours in 2024! Last Saturday, we saw a robust take-up of more than 50% or 114 units of MEYER BLUE, our joint venture project UOL Group Limited on its first day of sales. Featuring breathtaking panoramic views from the coastline to the city, buyers were attracted by its prime location in District 15, freehold tenure and strong product offerings. Adaptive reuse is a sustainable concept that encourages older buildings to be extensively renovated rather than demolished. Last month, we were pleased to host officials from various Singapore government agencies participating in National University of Singapore ’s 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭, 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 20𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 programme at Singapore Land Tower. Our Singapore flagship is an example of conservation-in-action with extensive works done to transform the 42-year-old property into a modern office building. Organised by Ryusuke Kojio , Head of Sustainability and Circularity from Takenaka Corporation, the project’s main contractor, the visit started with an overview of the key changes made to the building by SingLand's Head of Strategy & Planning Chin Hong Heng . This was followed by a guided tour of major areas that are undergoing transformation. These include the level four podium that is being converted to offer tenant amenities, a rooftop sky garden, and new green public spaces at the building’s level one main plaza. While adaptive reuse has yet to gain traction as a mainstream option over redevelopment, we hope that the case study of Singapore Land Tower will create greater awareness of the benefits this concept has in renewing Singapore’s urban landscape while preserving the historic value of older buildings. #AdaptiveReuse #Sustainability

Last month, we partnered with Prolegis LLC to organise an engaging seminar on phishing scams and how Singapore’s proposed Shared Responsibility Framework seeks to share responsibility of these losses among financial institutions, telcos, and consumers. The knowledge sharing session held at Prolegis LLC’s Singapore Land Tower office also saw participants learn practical tips on how they can safeguard against phishing threats. The Enabling Masterplan 2030 outlines a vision to create a more caring and inclusive Singapore, and as a responsible corporate citizen, we are deeply committed to contributing to this goal. Beyond creating inclusive public spaces within our properties, we actively collaborate with community partners to provide greater meaningful opportunities for persons with disabilities, particularly those requiring specialised care, to actively participate in community life. In the third edition of our annual #SingLandVolunteers initiative, we proudly partnered with Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) to organise two special outings for their clients and caregivers. Held on 16 and 23 August, this signature event under our social initiative, #SingLandElevates , mobilised 78 SingLand volunteers to accompany nearly 80 high-dependency adults and students from CPAS on visits to Gardens by the Bay and Bird Paradise. A big thank you to our tenant TP ICAP for joining us and making the outing to Gardens by the Bay a more memorable one for the community! This year, in our effort to create a more profound impact, we have strategically enhanced our focus on uplifting underserved communities. By partnering closely with organisations that support persons with disabilities, vulnerable elderly, migrant workers, and at-risk youths, we have not only increased the frequency of our volunteer activities but have also augmented our contributions with financial support to these partners, including CPAS, allowing their vital programmes to reach even more individuals in need.
