Last week, we broke ground on the new “ALL” building, which will house the Botnar Institute of Immune Engineering – BIIE ) from 2027, with additional space for future research and innovation. Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area President Domenico Scala , BIIE CEO Dr. Stephen Wilson, PhD , Co-founder of Herzog de Meuron Pierre de Meuron and Senn Development AG Managing Director Johannes Eisenhut were on site to celebrate this milestone. Thanks to the Fondation Botnar ’s generous $1 billion endowment supporting BIIE’s mission over the next 15 years, this institute will advance health research for young people worldwide, turning this vision into reality and building a future where research makes a difference.
