Spain's Solar Industry Shines Bright in 2023 🌞 The Spanish photovoltaic sector continues to show its strength! In 2023, nearly 7.5 GW of solar power was installed, reinforcing Spain's leadership in renewable energy. This boom created over 160,000 new jobs and contributed €18 billion to the GDP. Key highlights: ✅ Solar energy now represents 32.5 GW of installed capacity, making it the most installed energy source in Spain. ✅ €610 million invested in R&D, driving innovation and sustainability. ✅ The first half of 2024 shows a promising trend with 2.1 GW of new capacity already installed, keeping pace with last year's record figures.
