I had the pleasure of attending Busworld Brussels as the Head of Sales, and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I stepped onto the showroom floor, the energy and excitement were palpable. I am delighted to share my review of the successful talks we had with our partners and clients, including several OEMs, which we believe will pave the way for promising projects in the coming year and beyond.

The event provided an exceptional platform for networking and building connections. Our discussions with potential partners were not only productive but also inspiring. The enthusiasm displayed by potential and existing clients was contagious, fueling our aspirations for the future. We were able to explore innovative solutions and gain insight into what we think the industry will look like in the future.

I want to commend the organizers for their meticulous planning and flawless execution. The attention to detail, from the layout of the exhibition halls to the comprehensive range of offerings, was truly commendable. When we left Busworld Brussels, we took with us a renewed sense of enthusiasm and optimism for what we see as the future of the industry. My visit to Busworld Brussels as the Head of Sales was nothing short of exceptional. I believe we will see positive developments in the industry and look forward to returning to Busworld in the years to come.

Here comes our next Busworld review. This time with Joerg Bodmer, Product Manager Solar Electric Bus.

The Busworld show has always been one of my favorite meeting points of the industry, also in my professional years before I joined Sono Motors. Over the years, players in the bus industry have publicly tested concepts for greener travel and commuting to determine which would appeal most. Power and mild hybrids came and went, many different types of alternative fuels have been presented, and chassis and integral bus concepts have undergone many powertrain evolutions on the way to zero tailpipe emissions. 

This year we saw the breakthrough of intelligent battery arrangements for Citybuses, both lightweight concepts as well as surprisingly numerous efforts with H2-fueled powertrains. With the cost of on-board electricity generation becoming more and more of an issue for buses, we see our seamless integration of solar energy into the bord net of buses as a timely solution. 

We are thankful for the many interesting discussions we had and the project ideas that came up at that welcoming show.

Last week, I had the privilege of attending Busworld Europe, and it was truly inspiring:

🔵 Talks/Booth: Customer Insights & Supplier Connections 🤝
Interacting with customers revealed their positive feedback and valuable insights, guiding us to strengthen our product. We welcomed the chance to build relationships with potential suppliers in order to open doors to exciting tech opportunities. It's all about "meeting the people!"

🌞 Solar Power & Sustainable Transport 🚌
Excitingly, our impression was that the industry is embracing solar technology for sustainable transportation. Being able to discuss our solar buses in action was a true highlight and we were thrilled to interact with so many visitors at our booth!

🎉 Overall Fair: A Grand Industry Reunion 
Kudos to the organizers for creating a memorable event and uniting the bus industry family. It felt like a grand reunion!
