Welcoming our littlest Sounders! 🍼💙 Paul Rothrock, born at Swedish, visited the Swedish First Hill campus last week to meet newborn fans. He handed out special Sounders beanies and swaddles to celebrate Fan Appreciation Night. Every baby born at Providence Swedish last week received a limited edition Sounders beanie and swaddle – because it’s never too early to show Sounders pride!

Last match, we celebrated Latinx Heritage Month with a Pro Sports Career Panel! Sounders FC is committed to developing and cultivating a diverse pipeline of talent that is reflective of our community. Pro Sports Career Panels, a consistent element of our heritage month celebrations, provide students with visibility into careers in sports and connect them with Sounders staff with shared heritage. Our Latinx Heritage Month panel brought high school students from the Granger, Toppenish, and Tacoma communities to Lumen Field for a unique matchday experience complete with panel, eats from local Latinx-owned food trucks, and a Sounders FC win! Thanks to our incredible Sounders team members Eduardo Millán , Gisselle Pichardo , Rene Saldaña, Amber Soto , and Christian Vargas for sharing stories of their careers and cultures with the students!
