Can the grid keep up?

A recent report from Grid Strategies LLC warns that clean energy projects are waiting on grid expansions, and data centers, factories, and electric-vehicle charging depots could be next. This puts the energy transition and economic growth at risk.

Jeff St. John’s breakdown of the report for Canary Media Inc. reveals that estimates have nearly doubled from 2.6 percent to 4.7 percent, a stark contrast to the 0.5 percent growth seen over the past decade.

We had an amazing time exploring the vibrant musical heritage of U Street, Washington, DC, also known as Black Broadway! 🎷🎤 From jazz to hip hop, to go-go, we discovered the beats that shaped this historic neighborhood. Throughout the tour, we gained insight into the historical black businesses prominent in the neighborhood of Shaw and about The Black Broadway's leading contribution to American culture.

Hosted by Tim, a former civics teacher and museum educator, the virtual experience offered a unique virtual journey through U Street's history, complemented by a diverse playlist curated to match the murals and venues. It was an immersive tour of one of DC's most iconic neighborhoods and an engaging way to learn more about local history. We're proud to be headquartered right here in DC!
