Meet Tobi , a speech machine learning engineer based in San Francisco. “I’m a generalist – trained in neuroscience, perceptual acoustics, software engineering, machine learning and I’ve even lived in Europe,” Tobi said. “I’m amazed at how many strands from my past have come together at Speak.” He joined our team earlier this spring, and his favorite project has been developing a pronunciation model that’s robust to the pronunciation errors of users all over the world. Tobi gets to put his project to the test as he learns Spanish with Speak!
