I can't stress enough how important I think it is to make the time and energy investment to travel to meet peers, clients, customers, and colleagues in-person when given the chance. I much prefer in-person meetings to video calls, but sadly, I feel like the amount of business that is conducted in-person is slowly decreasing as time progresses. 

While I'm grateful for the amazing new technology that we have today, it will never replace sharing a meal or a cup of coffee with someone.
