This is the latest permanent release from Black Tot Rum: Black Tot Historic Solera, an authentic solera-aged blend of rums from Guyana, Barbados, and Jamaica. With this new expression, Black Tot champions this traditional blending method to honour the sherry bodegas from which their historic solera casks originated. This is the first time a blend of rums from these countries has been produced using a traditional solera process. Oliver Chilton Master Blender of Black Tot Rum, says of the release; “Historic Solera started life as a passion project. We sought to elevate our Black Tot rum blend with the richer, dark fruit notes associated with sherry, but traditional finishing methods fell short. After visiting Jerez, I fell in love with solera blending and the regular movement between the layers helped create consistency.” Black Tot Historic Solera begins with Black Tot Finest Caribbean rum, which is aged up to two years in first fill Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts before entering the 3-tier solera system. The rum is then aged for one year in each tier before being added to the subsequent tier. When taking from the final tier, the result is a rich and decadent rum that displays notes of figs and plums, along with chocolate, warming winter spices, and lightly roasted coffee. The finish is long with charred citrus zest that develops into ripe tropical fruits. The new rum is now available in the UK, chat to our sales team for full details. Chichibu 2024 London Edition has landed in the UK. The limited-edition whisky created exclusively for the UK features a striking label designed by Raj 'Mr C' Chavda which glows in the dark. For the design he took inspiration from Musha-e: The Warriors of Ukiyo-e. This genre captures fact and fiction, truth and fable. The glow in the dark element is a first for the brand, combining Japanese design tradition with modern techniques. First launched at The Whisky Show in 2018, this series has seen immense demand. The 2024 blend of approximately 10 casks is predominantly matured in ex-bourbon barrels, which impart a gentle sweetness and fruitiness, with an additional red wine cask to add structure and balance. It is a whisky that is complex, harmonious, and elegant, showcasing the skill and craftsmanship of the legendary distillery. The new whisky will be available at selected partners.

This week sees the launch of a three-months CAMUS COGNAC activation at Gothic Bar in St Pancras. Voyages Extraordinaires is a menu of carefully curated cocktails created by Jack Porter. Taking inspirations from the stories of Jules Verne, whose famed novels were published 160 years ago - the same time that the Camus family began their journey into the world of cognac. The menu of three cocktails promise to take you around the world! Over the past few months, we worked very closely with the bar and event's team to craft a brilliant experience which we're very proud of. Huge thanks to Anthony Parker and Jaz Arwand for their help and support.
