Yesterday we had an AGM and our quarterly board meeting and thought I’d send you their smiles for the day. It’s really wonderful when competitors can put put aside their personal goals and work together for the greater good. This is what tea is about and we am so proud to be part of this wonderful organisation. It has taken years with many trials and tribulations but being able to work with such wonderful people has made it all worth while. Our members Good and Proper are hosting, "The Proper Shake Up". They are bringing back their (now annual again) tea cocktail competition, The Proper Shake Up. For anyone new to this event or The Big Iced Teaser, they are inviting you to either compete to become, or help them in their search for, this year’s Tea Cocktail champion. This time hosted by Ozone Coffee in their beautiful Shoreditch site. On the evening of Thursday 24th October, bartenders and baristas from Good & Proper partners will battle head-to-head to wow a panel of industry-expert judges with their tea-inspired cocktail creations. They will also be sharing it with you, the audience, in a bid to win the People's Choice vote.
