StartupSac is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the startup and innovation ecosystem in the Greater Sacramento region. The company provides resources, networking opportunities, and educational events to empower entrepreneurs and innovators. It was co-founded by Laura Good and the now-retired Jeff Bennett, both of whom have extensive experience in the technology and startup sectors.

As the Sacramento region looks to the future, it is imperative that we focus on entrepreneurship and small business generation to grow our economy. StartupSac serves and benefits the entire community through our cultivation of the local entrepreneurship ecosystem. StartupSac works directly with startup founders helping them discover the roadmap to venture success. As we educate, inform, and connect entrepreneurs to the resources they need, we fundamentally strengthen the local innovation economy. Supporting the work of StartupSac in greater Sacramento’s startup ecosystem, invests in a more robust and equitable economy for our region, our business, and our family. StartupSac is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

In person events in our startup community are starting to spring up again after a two year hiatus. Most notably, this Thursday's Pitch Elk Grove will welcome 150 people to come together to reconnect and witness the pitches of eight promising startup companies as they compete for serious prize money.
