We had a merry plan to spread holiday cheer with our "Hot Takes on Hot Chocolate" experiment, but sometimes, life gives you marshmallows ❄  

As the 2023 holiday season approached, Statsig embarked on a delightful journey to explore the world of qualitative analysis and data science. Our goal? To determine the ultimate hot chocolate champion.

But, like any experiment, the results weren't what we expected. Instead of testing the deliciousness of hot cocoa, we ended up collecting data on viability of 'test' or 'control' mugs surviving delivery.

📣 2023 was a busy year for us at Statsig and the Design team that worked on various new features and the new brand. I wrote this piece to summarize what we were able to accomplish within just a year of a busy early stage startup journey.
