On International Women's Day, SteelSky Ventures proudly celebrates the extraordinary accomplishments of our female founders.

According to TechCrunch data, companies with at least one female founder raised just 26% of all venture funding last year, but our industry-leading portfolio companies are prevailing against the odds.

Each of our female-founded portfolio companies has raised at least $6 million to date, with several closing large rounds through the downturn. Motivo Health (Rachel McCrickard, LMFT) raised a $14 million Series A, Midi Health (Joanna Strober) raised a $25 million Series A, and Bend Health (Monika Roots, MD, FAPA) closed a Series A that brought Bend's total funding to $32 million. Collectively, female founders in the SteelSky Ventures portfolio have raised almost $1.5 billion.
