JCI Europe is the regional representative of JCI (Junior Chamber International), a non-profit membership organization composed of young people aged 18 to 40. I was delighted to host the Commissioner for Climate Action Wopke Hoekstra yesterday. 

We discussed how Stora Enso’s renewable products make a twofold contribution to tackling climate change: not only do they replace fossil-intensive products, but our renewable wooden material is also a European strategic resource that supports the EU’s resilience and autonomy. I was therefore proud to showcase products ranging from renewable packaging, wood construction, textiles, bio-based anode materials for batteries and bio-based glues. All make significant contributions towards the green transition.
