While it is still early days for InnerPlant, I am incredibly excited about this company. Like any punchcard investor, I feel compelled to share some of the reasoning behind our analysis.

Upon meeting Shely Aronov, I was struck by her passion for the technology, industry, and business—but particularly by the enthusiasm she displayed for her team. While these qualities may not always be immediately apparent, what was clear was the high caliber of the entire team. To paraphrase Sam Hinkie: she was recruiting like her hair was on fire. If a company is a reflection of its people, this was an encouraging sign.

We believe InnerPlant has the last mover advantage by deriving plant stress information directly from the plant, and not a sensor based on secondary information.

Shely's energy, combined with the differentiated technology and unique perspective being brought to a critical point in the value chain, was extremely compelling.
