Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and much more. Acquired by IKEA Group - the world’s largest furniture retailer - in 2017

At Taskrabbit, we want to make your neighborhood a little more familiar. Whether it’s a handyman (or woman!), a housecleaner, moving help or delivery person, we’re imagining a world where everyone will have a go-to team to make everyday life easier. We’re excited to announce that Taskrabbit is renewing our partnership with Anthos|Home, a New York City-based organization that works to find permanent housing for homeless and at-risk New Yorkers through the housing voucher system.

Over the last year, with the aid of a $10,000 grant from Taskrabbit for Good, Anthos has used Taskrabbit services to make 21 apartments move-in ready. These services include plumbing repair, furniture assembly, deep cleaning, and anything else necessary to turn an empty apartment into a home.

Taskrabbit for Good has granted an additional $10,000 to support Anthos in their work over the next year. Learn more about Anthos|Home here: https://anthoshome.org/

It's a beautiful day for volunteering! ☀️ Taskrabbit's Marketing team rolled up their sleeves and spent the day with Habitat for Humanity New York City and Westchester County in Queens, NY. The team worked on several indoor and outdoor projects to help get homes move-in ready for families in need. 🏡✨
