B-cleansing to Enter Thailand as Medicinal Drug #Tasly has lately received from the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand a certificate of registration for B-cleansing Granules as a medicinal drug. This marks the access of another TCM-based product made by the firm to the Thai pharmaceutical market after the success of Dantonic?, which was approved to be marketed as a medicinal drug in the country in 2007. Since the introduction of new regulatory protocols on drug registration in 2021, Thailand has given more attention to the quality of subscribed products, mandating the provision of quality information through the entire manufacturing process from medicinal material sourcing to pharmaceutical ingredient extraction and to final formulation. With regard to microorganisms, in particular, it requires stringent control over Salmonella, Bacillus and cholate-resistant gram-negative bacteria; in terms of heavy metals, it orders proper control over lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury.
