12 years as a leader in joinery paints and coatings 🏆 For the 12th year in a row, Teknos Poland has been named the best in “Farby i Lakiery” (Paints and Coatings) at Poland’s National Joinery Forum. This award highlights companies in the coatings industry with the highest revenue or strongest growth, and we’re proud to be among them. Why do we talk about high volume solid paints? As Christer Ohlsson, Business Development Manager at Teknos, mentions in the video, high volume solid paints mean you get more paint in a can. High volume solid paints have a greater concentration of solid particles. This means they contain less solvent and more pigment and binder, which results in better coverage with fewer coats. Supporting EU factories and SMEs💚 Two months ago, we sent an official statement to the European Commission about the risks of new anti-dumping duties on titanium dioxide (TiO2) from China. Since then, our CEO, Paula Salastie , has spoken with several media. Most recently, we were featured in the Financial Times , together with other industry operators, where we highlighted how critical this issue is for our industry. TiO2 is a key raw material for our sector. These duties could cut supply, increase costs, and lead to job losses across the EU, affecting hundreds of factories and SMEs. They also put the EU Green Deal at risk, since importing finished products creates much more emissions than just importing TiO2. We stand with SMEs to protect jobs, fair competitiveness, and the future of European coatings manufacturing and investments in the EU. Are you with us?
