Today, Company Chairman and CEO Scott Thompson and EVP and CFO Bhaskar Rao shared our Q3 2024 earnings results. In the third quarter of 2024, our leading U.S. brands performed well—with total net sales of approximately $1.3 billion, a 1.8% increase compared to last year, and a net income of $130 million, a 14.7% increase compared to last year. Scott Thompson commented, "We are pleased with our performance in the third quarter. Our global market outperformance, led by double-digit growth in our international segment, resulted in consolidated sales growth year-over-year despite the global bedding industry continuing to perform significantly below historical trends. Sales growth coupled with our operational efficiency initiatives and diverse business platform resulted in solid growth in both adjusted EBITDA and adjusted EPS. Hurricane Helene struck the western part of North Carolina at the end of September, destroying entire towns through flooding and landslides. The situation remains serious, with many people still displaced and recovery efforts hindered by the inaccessibility of many roads. We are deeply grateful for the support from our Lexington, KY, employees and those at the Trinity, NC, campus – a team with many individuals deeply connected to the affected area. We partnered with Appalachian Regional Healthcare — a non-profit dedicated to improving the well-being of all people in Central Appalachia — to collect non-perishable goods and basic necessities.
