Last week our Executive Chair, Dr Steve Burnell, and the CEO of Carina Biotech, Dr Deborah Rathjen, took part in an industry insider "fireside chat" and an insightful audience Q&A hosted by MTPConnect.

We recently attended the AusBioInvest conference, which was held in our home city of Perth, in Western Australia, the first time it had been held here in 17 years.

Our Executive Chair, Dr Steve Burnell, was invited to speak on a panel called "Invest insights: Accessing the right type of capital at the right time" in front of a well-attended and engaged audience.

That same evening, we hosted an invitation-only investors' & CEO dinner on behalf of the conference organisers, AusBiotech, at Cooee, a restaurant on the banks of the Swan River. This was a great opportunity to introduce ourselves as Australia's newest biotech-specific investment business and to meet so many people working in the biotechnology health investment industry across Australia.
