As a spin-off of the Max Planck Institute and green tech company, we develop innovative cold plasma applications in areas where germs/bacteria/viruses, unwanted odors or harmful molecules cause problems. Cold plasmas are partially ionized gases that very efficiently inactivate bacteria, fungi, viruses, spores and odor molecules.

💧 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗻 🚀
Vor einigen Monaten konnten wir im Rahmen einer #Wasserbehandlung zeigen, dass es mit unserer hochwirksamen #Technologie möglich ist, die sog. „Ewigkeitschemikalien“ (#PFAS Per- und polyFluorierte AlkylSubstanzen) im #Trinkwasser zu reduzieren. 
Im Rahmen einer von European Space Agency - ESA Spark Funding geförderten Forschungsstudie wollen wir eine Wasseraufbereitungsanlage mit deutlich leistungsfähigerer Durchflussrate entwickeln. Unter dem Projektnamen „#PlasmaPureWater“ zielen wir auf die Fertigstellung einer größeren Demonstrationsanlage ab, die mit mindestens 100 Litern pro Minute die Anforderungen von großen #Haushalten und kleineren #Industrieanwendungen erfüllen soll. Ein erster #Prototyp namens "tpWater" wird bereits umfangreich getestet und optimiert.

💧 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮 🚀
A few months ago, we were able to demonstrate in a #water treatment that our highly effective #technology makes it possible to reduce the so-called "forever chemicals" (#PFAS per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances) in #drinking water.
As part of a research study funded by European Space Agency - ESA Spark Funding, we want to develop a water treatment plant with a significantly more efficient flow rate. Under the project name "#PlasmaPureWater", we aim to complete a larger demonstration plant that will meet the requirements of large #households and smaller #industrial applications with at least 100 liters per minute. A first #prototype called "tpWater" is already being extensively tested and optimized.

Nicht nur im #Labor und in der #Medizin, sondern auch an vielen anderen Orten macht #Hygiene mit #Kaltplasma Sinn. So breitet sich derzeit in vielen #Barbershops und #Friseursalons ein nicht ungefährlicher #Hautpilz aus. Unser Partner Kimetec GmbH hat mit uns ein Gerät entwickelt, welches sich auch perfekt für die nachhaltige #Desinfektion von #Friseurwerkzeugen eignet.

#Innovation passiert nicht von alleine - es bedarf neben #Forschung und #Erfindungsgeist auch #Veränderung, den Wunsch "es besser zu machen".

Wir haben einen wichtigen #Meilenstein bei der Entwicklung unserer  aerosolunterstützten #Kaltplasmatechnologie erreicht. 
 
Kaltes Atmosphärisches Plasma (kurz: #Kaltplasma oder Kaltes Plasma) beweist schon heute seine #Wirksamkeit im Bereich der #Wundbehandlung durch eine kontakt- und chemikalienfreie Reduktion von Mikroorganismen. #Viren, #Pilze, #Bakterien, darunter auch Multiresistente Erreger (#MRE), werden effizient und nachhaltig durch Kaltes Plasma zerstört. 

Dieses Wirkprinzip haben wir auf andere Einsatzgebiete wie beispielsweise die #Desinfektion von #Gegenständen und #Oberflächen ausgedehnt. Mit unserem #Prototyp namens „tpTop“, einem handlichen und mobilen Kaltplasma-Dekontaminationsgerät, gelang nun eine #Deaktivierung von bis zu 99,9% der #Mikroorganismen innerhalb einer #Behandlung von wenigen Sekunden. 

Geplant ist, zusammen mit #Partnern aus der #Industrie ein kompaktes und energieeffizientes Modul fertig zu entwicklen und in unterschiedlichen Geräten zur Oberflächenreinigung als ergänzende #Technologie zu integrieren wie beispielsweise in #Staubsaugrobotern oder #Bodenreinigungsmaschinen.

We have reached an important #milestone in the development of our aerosol-supported #coldplasma #technology.

Cold atmospheric plasma (short: #coldplasma or cold plasma) is already proving its #effectiveness in the field of #woundtreatment through a contact- and #chemical-free reduction of #microorganisms. #Viruses, #fungi, #bacteria, including multi-resistant pathogens (#MRE), are efficiently and sustainably destroyed by cold plasma.

We have extended this principle of action to other areas of application such as the #disinfection of #objects and #surfaces. With our #prototype called "tpTop", a handy and mobile cold plasma decontamination device, we have now succeeded in #deactivating up to 99.9% of #microorganisms within a #treatment of just a few seconds.

The plan is to develop a compact and energy-efficient module together with #partners from #industry and to integrate it into various surface cleaning devices as a complementary #technology, such as #vacuum cleaning robots or #floor cleaning machines.
