Founded in 2017, The Case for Her brings together over 30 years of experience working and investing in women’s health and rights. This dynamic and flexible portfolio spans the globe and includes investments in product companies, tech innovations, research initiatives, and grassroots organizations.

Did you know that TikTok and Meta are suppressing abortion content on their platforms? 

Amnesty International released a report earlier this summer addressing how Tiktok and Meta systematically remove critical life-saving content and what effects it has on access to bodily autonomy. 


Digital suppression, in the context of the digital world, refers to the intentional or unintentional actions that limit access to information, stifle certain voices or perspectives, and perpetuate inequalities online. This can manifest through various means, including biased algorithms, censorship, online harassment, and unequal access to technology or online platforms. Digital suppression can significantly affect individuals, groups, and societal issues. 

In relation to stigmatizing women's health, digital suppression can play a role in perpetuating harmful stereotypes, misinformation, and the silencing of essential discussions surrounding women's health including permeating the funding gap. 

Thankfully, there is hope. The European policy, "Digital Services Act" came into effect in February 2024 and aims to hold big tech platforms and ensure fair and equal practices by leveling the playfield.

Sexual reproductive health & rights have to continue to be recognized on a global legislative level. 💪

 A few weeks ago we saw the UN embrace the importance of #SRHR where the UN Human Rights Council adopted its first-ever resolution concerning sexual rights. 

In a time where we see rollbacks on bodily autonomy, strong governing bodies such as the United Nations must take a strong stance in support of #SRHR 🌟
