We are proud to have made a follow-on investment as part of ZwitterCo's $58.4M Series B round.

All over the world we are seeing examples of innovation that will reduce our global dependence on fossil fuels. In Chile, this partnership between COPEC S.A. and our portfolio company, INERATEC , will do much to make e-fuels mainstream in Latin America.

Our portfolio company, INERATEC  is leading the way in the development of e-fuels and this new partnership with SOLER Group is a major step towards reducing our dependence on fossil fuels. We are proud to be a part of this journey.

Ginger Rothrock and Meghan Hunt represented HG Ventures at Envita Solutions' Sustainability Innovators Summit last week. The event brought together a small, curated group of industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to talk about innovative technologies and the importance of relationships to move the needle. 

Ginger moderated a panel on "Investment Strategies to Drive Sustainable Value" featuring Andrew Maxey, CEO of Vartega (an HGV portfolio company), and Curtis Schickner, President of Diamond Edge Ventures, Inc. We also had the opportunity to include two additional HGV portcos, Aclarity (Pamela Lynch) and ZwitterCo (Peter Ingarra).

EV passports will be a reality in the EU from 2027, showing the composition of batteries, including the origin of key materials, their carbon footprint and recycled content. But one auto manufacturer is ahead the curve, thanks to a partnership with an HG Ventures portfolio company.

Volvo Group is introducing passports for its EX90 SUV three years early, through a partnership with British startup Circulor, which uses blockchain technology to map supply chains. 

This is a huge win for our partners at Circulor, for Volvo Group and for the environment.
