Theya Healthcare launched in 2015 offering breast cancer patients post surgery bras made from luxuriously soft sustainable bamboo material (a world first) that we scientifically proved helped to heal them and support them to feel better faster (a world first) while also soothing and comforting at the same time. Our post surgery bras gave women back confidence in their own bodies at a time when they felt so low. A mastectomy bra designed for women by women using natural fibres (a world first). We have continued to perfect our products over the years by listening to the feedback from our ladies and incorporating that feedback into our product range. I realised some time ago that bamboo as a material can help women in so many of their life stages and our vision to “Meet women’s changing body needs across their life cycle with sustainable, empathetic, science-backed products that give women the standard of care they deserve” was formed as our strategy. As part of our new product development I am thrilled to tell you about the launch of another world first! The only medical grade period pants made from sustainable bamboo and graphene that are affordable and accessible to all, while also absorbing 50-80ML’s of blood (5-8 tampons worth). The bamboo and the graphene make them naturally anti-bacterial, highly absorbent and odour neutralising! What’s not to like. I am on a mission to ensure all girls and women from their first period onwards can access period products that are safe for their health, affordable, will help keep girls playing sport and give them the freedom and confidence to continue enjoying their lives.
