This week, our proposed Liverpool Range Wind Farm achieved a major milestone, securing Development Approval for the modified wind farm. A Modification Application was submitted in 2022 for the Liverpool Range Wind Farm. Tilt Renewables proposed to increase the renewable energy that the Project can generate by using taller turbines while reducing the number required. Through consultation with communities and key stakeholders, the modifications also reflect the outcomes of substantial design optimisation work and constructability assessments carried out to prepare the Project for construction. This would not be possible without the dedication and commitment of our Liverpool Range Wind Farm Project team, and we congratulate them on this milestone achievement! The Future’s So Bright, We Gotta Build BESS’! A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) stores power when there is a lot of energy available, for example during the middle of the day when there is excess solar entering the grid. The BESS can release this stored energy during periods of high demand to maintain a reliable energy supply for the network. Thanks to Beyond Zero Emissions for spending some time with us and asking all about it.
