Hotel Albert was a historic hotel located in Selma, Alabama. It was built in 1860 and modeled after the Palace of the Doges in Venice, Italy. The hotel was considered a showplace of the city and was declared a historic landmark. However, it was ultimately demolished in 1969 and replaced with government-owned buildings.
