Do you want an indestructible phone?* Last week we had a cool demonstration in the TioTech labs. Robert demonstrated that our batteries power up an Iphone. The original battery is removed and the phone runs of the original battery management system. It is great to see that our batteries perform in (near) real life applications! TitanB enables batteries that can take a punch and last forever. Although phones and portable electronics aren't the main application that comes to mind for high power batteries, certain applications within construction and heavy industries might just want more durable portable electronics and we are ready to provide. With current regulations pushing towards more sustainable, longer lifetime and ease of repair, we might see a renaissance in which battery technology is preferred. And we have some way to go on ease of disassembly! To get the battery out and BMS disconnected, Robert had to both use aggressive solvents and brute force, not ideal when handling delecate electronics. In fact, the original battery was nicked, causing a minor HSE incident and illustrates that the right to repair might mean more accidents if not handled correctly. Batteries with TitanB will not catch fire due to physical damage.
