Today, Tiptree Inc. announced its fourth quarter and total year 2022 earnings. 
 
Executive Chairman, Michael Barnes said, “2022 was a strong year for Tiptree, with our operating businesses performing well. Revenues for the year increased to a record $1.4 billion, while contributing an adjusted return on equity of 13.6%. As we look forward, we see significant opportunities to grow our businesses and are confident in the long-term outlook for the company.”

Yesterday, Tiptree Inc. announced its third quarter 2022 earnings. 

Michael Barnes commented, "when we set out our plans for 2022, we had several key objectives in mind. First, closing the investment in Fortegra with our new partners, Warburg Pincus. Second, continuing to execute on the growth plan at Fortegra, while maintaining the company’s excellent underwriting track record.  Third, generate solid returns on capital deployed within our businesses in Tiptree Capital. Through the nine months, we are pleased with where we stand against each of those objectives."

We are excited to announce that Tiptree Inc. has been recognized as a Fast 50 company by Crain's New York Business for 2022. This recognition is a testament to Tiptree and our subsidiaries' efforts to build a platform that can deliver growth over the long term. While we celebrate our success, we are even more enthused about our trajectory over the coming years.

Yesterday we announced that Sandra Bell, our current CFO, will retire at the end of March 2023. In her more than seven years at Tiptree, Sandra has been an integral part of the company’s success and a valuable member of our leadership team. 

Scott McKinney, Deputy CFO, will succeed Sandra as CFO upon her retirement. Scott has been with Tiptree since 2016 and has a deep understanding of our businesses. Tiptree’s Board of Directors is excited to welcome Scott to his new role.

Today, we announced our second quarter earnings, with each of our operating businesses producing positive results. 

Fortegra had another excellent quarter of premium growth and underwriting results; our marine business had its best quarter yet from strong charter rates and the gain on sale of one dry bulk vessel; and our mortgage business was profitable, despite the headwinds from rising interest rates.
