Titan Cement International S.A., together with its subsidiaries, produces, distributes, and trades in a range of construction materials in Greece and Western Europe, North America, Southeastern Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, and internationally. The company provides cement; ready-mix concrete; aggregates and coarse materials, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, and recycled concrete; and other building materials, such as dry mortars, building blocks, fly ash, and other concrete products for the construction of infrastructure, residential housing, commercial buildings, and social projects. It is also involved in the distribution of cement; processing of fly ash; sale of fly ash processing equipment; quarries and aggregates; real estate brokerage services; engineering design services for solid and liquid waste facilities; and alternative fuels. Our new #terminal on the Samsun port, Turkey, consisting of four silos with total storage #capacity of 45,000 tons is ready, already exporting our #lowercarbon cement Type IL to the growing US market. This new investment implemented by Adocim, the Group’s subsidiary in the country, will enable us to further increase our sales of lower carbon cement contributing to our Group’s #netzero goal towards a #greener and more #sustainable future.

Congratulations to the team of Titan America's Pennsuco Quarry, which has been awarded the National Mining Association (NMA) Sentinels of Safety Award in the Large Quarry category, tying the record for the greatest number of wins by any quarry in the United States! This is the second year in a row that the Pennsuco Quarry has been recognized for its safety performance and the eighth time overall. Keep up the good work!

We are building a #sustainable built environment with our innovative #materials and #solutions. In Egypt, we offer our #lowercarbon cement CEM III to build “The Cairo monorail” which in its full expansion will connect the New Administrative Capital with the Cairo metropolitan area and the 6th of October City with Giza. This project will be the longest monorail system in the world and will enable fast, sustainable, comfortable and safe transportation for 45,000 passengers per hour in each direction. The first trial operation of the East Nile line was held in early November.

Raising our #climateambition even higher, we seek to address not only direct (Scope 1) emissions and indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity (Scope 2), but also other indirect emissions of the supply chain (Scope 3).

TITAN contributes to major infrastructure projects that foster #connectivity and improve people’s lives! In Greece, we offered our #products for the expansion of Metro Line 3 in Athens, which now connects the Port of Piraeus with the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”. It is estimated that with this expansion, an additional number of 132,000 citizens will use the Metro on a daily basis. This is translated to 23,000 fewer vehicles on the roads and 70 tons less carbon in the atmosphere in a day.
