Introducing Atman Labs

I believe the most benevolent way to contribute to humanity is to help every human reach an infinite state of being: being aware of the unlimited possibilities of life and then the limitlessness of our conscious existence.

How can we use machines to amplify our conscious experience? We’re inspired by interactions with human experts, who enable us to explore ourselves and the universe in new ways. However, existing conversational AI systems, like LLMs, have limitations in emulating these interactions: they can’t formulate deeply individualized or long-term strategies, are not proactive or engaging, nor are able to create and recall deep knowledge. 

The universe needs a new type of intelligence system, rooted in human biology and aligned to amplify our conscious experience. So, I cofounded Atman Labs with Sumon Sadhu, with the mission to build software that can emulate human expertise.

Through a thoughtfully integrated combination of hierarchical reinforcement learning, knowledge representation, and multi-modal generative models, we are building and commercializing machines that can perform any type of expert task: from emulating personal stylists that empower individuals with imaginative fashion suggestions (demo: https://lnkd.in/dUjRfREj) to designing and testing new molecules like a bioengineer to discover new antibiotics.

Reflaunt unveils a game-changing partnership with DHL to scale up branded resale

After a one-year pilot in Europe, Reflaunt and DHL have announced their partnership in fashion resale. As The Business of Fashion’s Cathaleen Chen highlights, DHL Supply Chain brings unprecedented scale and efficiency to the resale industry, with more than 1,300 warehouses and offices worldwide. Using Reflaunt’s technology and DHL’s logistics power, brands have a convenient and fully integrated resale service to provide to their shoppers. 

What does this mean for the resale industry? 
Hundreds of fashion brands have already announced their foray into resale, including Reflaunt partners NET-A-PORTER, BALENCIAGA, MR PORTER, Harvey Nichols, COS, Level Shoes , Saks OFF 5TH, ALTUZARRA and more. With Reflaunt and DHL, new brands will be able to bring ecommerce and recommerce operations under one roof, while scaling up their circularity efforts globally. “Reflaunt is bridging the disconnect between secondhand and new [retail] by partnering with someone who can now do both,” added Karin Dillie, a fashion resale veteran and former executive at Recurate and The RealReal.

Fashion brands have been quick to realize that branded resale programs are crucial to acquire new customers, control the customer experience and inventory curation, and boost loyalty and retention in the long-term. With Reflaunt, they see a 350% increase in customer lifetime value and sell-through exceeding 85%, thanks to a wide distribution network which includes the brand's ecommerce as well as resale market leaders such as Poshmark, Vestiaire Collective, eBay, The Vintage Bar , Joli Closet and Hardlyeverwornit.com. Earlier this year, Reflaunt also announced a partnership with recycling startup SuperCircle to provide an end of life solution for items that cannot be resold in the market.
