It is a matter of great pride and honour that the initiatives of the Government of Tamil Nadu to create safe, comfortable housing for working women has found a mention in Economic Survey 2023-2024. 

The Survey, tabled in Parliament yesterday, while speaking about how women of Krishnagiri District in Western Tamil Nadu were well on the way `towards financial independence, makes the following observation: " The Krishnagiri experience also spurred second-order effects from the state and corporates. The State Government-initiated policies on providing career guidance in Government schools from class 9th itself, setting up industrial hostels, counselling parents, etc."

Tamil Nadu Shelter Fund (TNSF), a SEBI registered Category I AIF - Social Impact Fund is managed by Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Limited. A pioneer in industrial housing and secure accommodation for working women, TNSF is associated with Thozhi Working Women's Hostel, industrial housing with SIPCOT, and industrial housing with the private sector. These hostels have a pipeline of more than 15,000 beds for working women.

iTNT Day 2024 Highlights - MoU with Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Ltd. (TNIFMC)!

Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT) inked a Memorandum of Understanding with Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Ltd. (TNIFMC) to support investing in potential startups and for scaling and accelerating them. Tmt. Vanitha Venugopal, CEO of iTNT Hub, exchanged this MOU with Mr. Krishna Chaitanya, CEO of Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Ltd. (TNIFMC). This MoU was among the 8 strategic partnerships that were signed with key entities in the government and global entities to strengthen the Emerging and Deep Tech startup and innovation landscape of Tamil Nadu.
