Time sure does fly by!

It's been two years since the passage of the #InflationReductionAct. Since then, many new clean energy projects have been announced throughout the U.S., including Topsoe's new SOEC manufacturing facility to be placed in Chesterfield, VA. Pending final investment decision, this project will create 150 direct jobs and over 1,000 indirect jobs as part of the value chain. 💪🏽

The new factory will help accelerate U.S. domestic clean energy by manufacturing SOEC, the key element to the world’s most efficient electrolyzer technology. The cells will be used to produce clean hydrogen, which is essential for the U.S. and global energy transition. ⚡️

Topsoe is proud to be awarded a $135.9 million tax credit through the 48C program funded through the IRA and we're excited to be a part of accelerating the clean energy economy in the U.S. 🙌🏽

📢 Exciting news! Topsoe chosen as technology provider for HOLBORN Europa Raffinerie GmbH's Hamburg renewable fuels refinery 🌱✈️

Topsoe has been selected by HOLBORN to provide its HydroFlex™ technology for their renewable fuels complex in Hamburg, Germany. The facility, expected to be operational in early 2027, will produce 220,000 tons of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) annually. 
 
This means a lot of CO2 being saved from going into the atmosphere. The refinery's annual production of renewable fuels equals CO2-savings of 465,000 tons annually - or more than 250,000 cars taken off the road. 🚗
