Kamdar, MD, along with our Clinical Advisory Board Co-Chairs, Dr. Vicki Jackson and Dr. Areej El-Jawahri, were co-investigators on a groundbreaking study recently presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology annual meeting in Chicago.

The study, titled "Comparative Effectiveness of Early Palliative Care Delivered via Telehealth Versus In-Person for Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Randomized Trial," highlights the significant potential of telehealth in delivering high-quality, early palliative care.

Key findings from this large-scale study demonstrate that telehealth can effectively provide palliative care, equivalent to in-person visits, in improving the quality of life for patients with advanced NSCLC. This research underscores the importance of innovative care delivery models, particularly in enhancing access and continuity of care for seriously ill patients.
