We were grateful to learn from Twine portfolio founders transforming human and planetary health, including Sid Viswanathan building tech-enabled pharmacy for 340B, Nicky Kamra making supply chains more sustainable, and Seyed H. Madaeni, Ph.D. procuring clean power for all. 

We also delved into applications of AI in climate with Kerry Whorton Cooper, Board Member of Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Lucas Ackerknecht, CEO of Alpha Grid, and James Shieh, founding engineer at Watershed, and AI in healthcare with Anuradhika A., SVP of Innovation at CommonSpirit Health, Kyna Fong, PhD, CEO of Elation Health, and David Schummers, CEO of Apella.  

We concluded with a fireside chat with Daniela Amodei, President and Co-founder of Anthropic, who shared her philosophy on building AI systems aligned with human values that are helpful, honest, and harmless. 

Finally, we hosted a reception for SF Climate Week alongside our friends at Galvanize Climate Solutions, Innovation Endeavors, J.P. Morgan, and Orrick Tech featuring Evelyn Wang, the Director of ARPA-E, a cornerstone of US innovation policy and critical funding source for transformational climate technologies.
