Information Access Beyond Sensory Bounds | Gaining access to graphical information (such as maps, graphs, and diagrams) is one of the biggest challenges for blind and visually-impaired (BVI) people. This lack of graphical information access negatively impacts their educational prospects (i.e., only ~11% have a bachelor’s degree), ability to travel (i.e., 30% do not travel independently outside of their home), and employment (i.e., more than 70% are unemployed). 
We invented Midlina to resolve this troubling situation.
