Last week, we revealed our exciting collaboration with Berlin based artist collective Tape That. For this special edition scooter, the artist Stephan Meissner covered an unu Scooter Pro with tape art. 

With this limited edition of the unu Scooter Pro, we merged the clean lines and vibrant colors of the tapes with the functional and minimalist design of the scooter. Tape That, known for their colorful tape creations, drew inspiration from the potential to transform an everyday object into something extraordinary. The result is an artistic fusion that is as striking as it is functional.

As a Berlin-based company, we are particularly pleased to have had the opportunity to work with a local artist collective. With the modern and clear structures of the tapes, they create a design that breaks with form and stands out - just like our scooters.

This is the result of a major consumer survey conducted by the Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität (DISQ) and the news channel ntv. The best companies in the 102 categories were decided by 80,000 customer opinions. 

We are continuously working on various ends to improve the unu experience for our customers and partners, to only name a few: 

✔️ Accessoires for the unu: In the past 12 months, we have launched the unu leg warmer and the rain cover, which were both especially designed to fit to your unu. Recently, we also added a phone holder on our webshop. 

✔️ More options for subscription: We have been upgrading our subscription model with many options: choose not only the model and the color of your scooter, but also the kilometer range or add one of our custom care packages. With our special Service Pack, you get an inspection and repair budget, and the Mobility Pack always keeps you moving in case of an accident or breakdown. 

✔️ Cooperation with Lease a Bike | Deutschland: employees can lease a scooter for an attractive price, as they save on social security contributions and taxes through the salary conversion. The perfect alternative to a company bike. 

We are proud to have won the award not only in 2023, but also in 2022.

🧐 Future Product and Mobility Demand: As we look to the future, the demand for easily accessible, affordable and compact mobility solutions is growing. Many people have expressed a desire for vehicles that are environmentally friendly, comfortable, and cost-effective, and they are looking for alternatives to oversized cars.

🌆 Urban planning and sustainable mobility: The evolving mobility landscape offers an opportunity to rethink and redesign our cities. Examples such as Paris, where areas along the Seine and former car lanes have been repurposed for pedestrians and cyclists, show the transformative potential of sustainable urban planning.

We're excited to introduce a more flexible and customizable way for subscribers to experience our electric scooters.

Starting today, unu customers can not only choose their model, color and accessories, but also tailor their subscription to include additional service and mobility packages.

Here are the fantastic choices available to subscribers:

🛣️  Kilometer flexibility: Choose the number of kilometers you want to ride per year - 2,000, 4,000 or 6,000 km.

🛵 Model variety: Both of our iconic models, the unu Scooter Move with a 2 kW motor and the unu Scooter Pro with a 4 kW motor, are now available for subscription. You can be subscribed to with a subscription period of 36 or 48 months.

🛠️ unu Care Package: With all of our scooter subscriptions, you'll get the basic pack that includes a two-year warranty, liability insurance and partial coverage insurance. In addition, you can now add a Mobility Pack, Service Pack  or a combination of both to your subscription.

🔧 Mobility Pack(€9/month): This package offers a 24/7 Mobility Guarantee with a service hotline, on-the-spot assistance including towing in the event of an accident or breakdown, and the provision of a replacement vehicle if needed. It also extends the warranty for the entire subscription period and reduces the for the partial coverage insurance to 0 in the event of a claim.

🤝 Service Pack(€19/month): Covers the cost of annual inspections and provides an annual budget of €300 for part replacements or cosmetic repairs.

🔧🤝 Mobility + Service Pack (€25/month): For those who want comprehensive coverage, combine the Mobility and Service Packs for a total monthly price of €25.
